Pointer Cue respects your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
Data Collection
Pointer Cue does not collect, store, transmit, or share personal information with Toybird Labs servers. The app does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Local Input and Window State
To display its cues, Pointer Cue processes active-app, visible-window position, Command-key, modifier, and mouse-button state locally on your Mac.
The Command-key cue is implemented by polling physical Command-key state locally and does not request Accessibility or Input Monitoring permission for that key detection.
The active-window highlighting feature uses local macOS window and application state to identify the active top-level window and place the visual mask around it.
Pointer Cue does not record, store, transmit, or analyze typed text, passwords, keyboard history, or mouse history.
Screen Content
Pointer Cue does not require Screen Recording permission and does not capture, upload, or transmit your screen content. Its visual overlays are generated locally on your Mac.
Local Settings
Preferences such as selected color, display language, area-framing shortcut, and launch-at-login settings are stored locally on your Mac.
App Store Purchases and External Communication
Pointer Cue Pro purchases and entitlement checks are handled by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Pointer Cue does not operate a developer server for purchase processing.
Other than Apple services used for App Store product information, purchases, and entitlement verification, Pointer Cue does not send personal data to Toybird Labs servers and does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
