When reporting an issue, include your macOS version, Meeting Ready version, Zoom Workplace version if shown, and the step that did not behave as expected.

Basic Usage

  1. Open Meeting Ready and press Check Now.
  2. Review the detected Zoom Workplace version and public update guidance.
  3. Open Device Diagnostics to select and test a camera, microphone, and the current speaker output.
  4. Use the Zoom Workplace settings checklist to visually confirm camera, microphone, screen-recording, and optional accessibility settings in macOS System Settings.
  5. Optionally enable calendar integration to check the next 14 days locally for Zoom meeting links.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Meeting Ready an official Zoom app?

No. Meeting Ready is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or provided by Zoom Communications, Inc.

Does the app install Zoom Workplace updates?

No. Meeting Ready shows public Zoom version guidance and opens the official Zoom download page when needed. It does not download or install Zoom Workplace automatically.

Can Meeting Ready read Zoom Workplace permission switches automatically?

No. macOS manages those permissions per app. Meeting Ready opens the relevant System Settings pages so you can visually confirm the Zoom Workplace switches.

Does the app record meetings or my screen?

No. It does not record or save camera video, microphone audio, screen contents, or meeting contents.

What happens when calendar integration is enabled?

The app checks the next 14 days locally on your Mac for Zoom links. It does not send calendar titles, notes, attendees, Zoom URLs, meeting IDs, or passcodes to the developer.

What if Zoom Workplace is not detected automatically?

Choose the installed Zoom Workplace app manually. Meeting Ready stores a local security-scoped bookmark so it can access the selected app later.

Which macOS versions are supported?

Meeting Ready requires macOS Ventura 13 or later.
