Meeting Ready

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Meeting Ready respects your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles Zoom Workplace version information, meeting-device diagnostics, optional calendar integration, notifications, and local preferences.

Data Collection

Meeting Ready does not collect, sell, or share personal information with the developer or third parties. The app does not require an account or login.

Public Zoom Version Information

Meeting Ready accesses public Zoom HTTPS pages to retrieve published Zoom Workplace version guidance, such as minimum, prompted, slow-track, and fast-track versions.

The app does not use private Zoom APIs, does not send your calendar information to Zoom, and does not install Zoom Workplace updates automatically.

Optional Calendar Integration

If you enable calendar integration, Meeting Ready checks the next 14 days locally on your Mac to detect Zoom meeting links.

The app does not send calendar titles, notes, attendees, Zoom URLs, meeting IDs, or passcodes to the developer or third parties. It may store local identifiers and notification-deduplication keys needed to avoid repeated reminders.

Camera, Microphone, Speaker, and Screen Settings

Camera preview, microphone-level checks, and speaker test sounds run only when you choose to start them.

Meeting Ready does not save or transmit camera video, microphone audio, screen contents, or meeting contents.

Meeting Ready does not automatically read or modify the permission switches assigned to Zoom Workplace. It opens the relevant macOS System Settings pages so you can visually confirm them.

Local Storage

The app may store local preferences and operational data on your Mac, including app settings, onboarding status, cached public Zoom version information, diagnostic timestamps, checklist timestamps, excluded calendar identifiers, notification-deduplication keys, lightweight check history, and an optional security-scoped bookmark for a manually selected Zoom Workplace app.

These items remain on your Mac.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Meeting Ready may show local macOS notifications when a detected issue may need your attention. Notification content is generated locally on your Mac.

Accounts, Ads, Analytics, and Tracking

Meeting Ready does not require an account, display ads, include analytics SDKs, or track users.

Independent App

Meeting Ready is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or provided by Zoom Communications, Inc.

Policy Updates

This policy may be updated if the app’s features or data-handling practices change. The updated date will be shown on this page.
