How to use the app and answers to common questions.
Import material using the camera, photos, or a PDF. Choose standard or pre-marked-material mode, check a ready draft, and save it to your library. Tap a mask to reveal the original answer. Complete a study session to record the result for future review.
The app imports the whole PDF in page order, without a fixed 20-page cap. Free users need enough available save slots for the document. To use only part of a PDF, first create a separate PDF with those pages in another app. Password-protected PDFs are unsupported. Large files take time and device storage. Pause, resume, or retry from import history.
Select up to 20 photos in one batch. Free batches must fit within available save slots, including reservations for active imports. If capacity is full, remove unneeded saved pages or drafts, replace an existing page, or use Unlimited Saves.
Standard mode extracts key terms. The pre-marked-material mode uses existing red or orange text and highlighting in your material. It cannot recover text that is fully obscured in the original image.
Choose Low, Standard, High, or Before a test. Remove or add masks and switch patterns. Manual mask editing, density changes, and pattern switching are unavailable in pre-marked-material mode.
Review drafts before saving them to your library. Revisit pages that need checking and resume active imports from history. Completed imports do not automatically recreate saved pages you later delete.
Study in order, randomly, or with weak points first. Choose 10, 20, 50, or all questions and resume an unfinished session. Narrow the material by folder or search and use results to guide your next review.
Search titles, notes, recognized text, and terms. Organize folders and back up pages, images, masks, and study history together. Optional local notifications can remind you to review.
Import a clear image with visible red or orange text or highlights. This mode does not offer manual mask editing, density changes, or pattern switching. Reimport in standard mode if needed. Text fully obscured in the original image cannot be recovered.
Use clear printed text with good lighting. Avoid blur, glare, shadows, and tilted pages. Handwriting, complex tables, vertical text, and decorative fonts may produce inaccurate recognition. Check mask positions against the original material before studying.
Start with three free saved pages. Complete your first study session to permanently expand the free limit to 10. Reserved slots and drafts from active imports also affect available capacity. Unlimited Saves removes the saved-page limit with a one-time purchase and no subscription. The US price is $4.99. Check the price displayed before purchase in your region. If the upgrade is missing, use the Apple Account that made the purchase and restore purchases from the upgrade screen.
Export an in-app backup and import the saved file on the destination device. Backups are not automatic cloud sync. Create a backup before deleting the app or changing devices. Manage exported files through the storage provider you chose.
The camera captures materials; the photo picker imports images; the file picker imports PDFs and backups. Review notifications are optional and scheduled locally. Change permissions in iOS Settings.

Background processing is used only on supported devices when permitted by the OS. Otherwise, keep the app open or return to resume processing.
Version 3.0.0 introduces the light app icon and a light default theme. The interface supports English, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese. The app follows the system language by default and lets you change the language in its settings.
