Pocket Screen

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

Pocket Screen is designed to show a selected Mac window in a small always-on-top PiP-style window. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

Data Collection

Pocket Screen does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information with the developer.

The app does not include advertising, analytics, tracking SDKs, or third-party data collection SDKs.

Screen Capture

Pocket Screen uses macOS Screen Recording permission to capture the window that you choose to display in the PiP preview.

Captured pixels are displayed locally inside the app. Pocket Screen does not upload captured screen content, record it to a server, or send it to external AI services.

Local Settings

The app may store local preferences on your Mac, such as the selected keyboard shortcut, window size, window position, and display options. These settings remain on your device.

Permissions

Pocket Screen requires Screen Recording permission to show the selected window. The app does not require Microphone, Camera, Photos Library, Contacts, Calendar, or Location permission.

Network Access

Pocket Screen does not need a network connection for its core capture and PiP display features.

Support Email

If you contact support by email, the information you choose to include in your message is handled through your email provider and the support mailbox. Do not include sensitive screenshots or recordings unless you intentionally choose to share them.

Policy Updates

This policy may be updated if the app’s features or data-handling practices change. The updated date will be shown on this page.
