DropReady Media respects your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles the photos, videos, files, folders, and preferences that you choose to use with the app.
Data Collection
DropReady Media does not collect, upload, transmit, sell, or share personal information, photos, videos, or converted files with the developer or third parties.
Local Processing
Photo and video analysis, conversion, resizing, metadata handling, and output-file creation are performed locally on your Mac.
The app does not send your media to external servers or cloud-based conversion services.
Files and Output Folders
The app accesses only files that you explicitly select or drag into the app, and output folders that you explicitly choose.
DropReady Media creates separate output files. It does not overwrite or delete your original photos and videos.
Photo Metadata
If you enable the metadata-removal option, the app removes metadata from the converted photo before saving the output file. This processing occurs locally on your Mac.
Preferences and Local Storage
The app may store local preferences on your Mac, such as your selected language, saved conversion preset, Quick Drop preference, notification preference, and a security-scoped bookmark for an output folder that you choose.
The app does not store a long-term history of the contents of your photos or videos.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, the app may display a local macOS notification after conversion finishes. Notification content is generated locally on your Mac.
Accounts, Ads, Analytics, and Tracking
DropReady Media does not require an account or login. It does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
